Honoring Our Heroes

With all the news coverage following the killing of Osama Bin Laden focusing on the constantly changing story of events, the sacrifice of our troops over the past ten years seems to be missing. Fortunately, Proctor & Gamble and Kroger have teamed together to support our troops and their families. With their “Honoring Our Heroes” campaign, Kroger will be donating $250,000.00 to the USO to be used in support of our troops and their families.

To kick-off the campaign, Kroger’s is providing in-store discounts on qualifying purchases. As their site states:

Kroger’s USO support campaign, coincides with a Mega Event sales promotion through which customers at participating stores receive $5 instantly at check out when they purchase ten participating Mega Event items. Kroger shoppers can also receive additional savings on P&G products by redeeming P&G BrandSAVER coupons at Kroger’s family of supermarkets across the country, including Kroger, Ralph’s, Food 4 Less, Fred Meyer, Smith’s, Fry’s, King Soopers, Dillons, QFC, City Market, Jay stores and retailers nationwide.
