To help build the Entrecard Politics community, I’m toying with the idea of reviving my old Political Blog Weekly concept and reintroduce it as the Entrecard Politics Monthly Newsletter. The concept for the newsletter is as follows:
- At the end of each month, I will evaluate the Entrecard blogs under the politics category to verify which ones are active. Once identified, I will update the quick drop groupings.
- In the process, I will identify which sites had new content in the most recent month.
- Reviewing the new content, I will try to find articles on similar topics and group them together.
From here, I hope that we can generate some cross-website discussions on the topics. And if you didn’t write an article about that topic, you are not only free to join in the discussion, I would encourage you to write your own article and paste your link on that issue of the newsletter so others will know. Through this effort, I feel that the community will see combined increase muscle and membership in the political blogosphere, and in turn, increased readership and participation.
The June edition should be available during the first week of July. I will send you the link to the newsletter to your Entrecard inbox once it is ready. If you have an recommendations on this proposal, please share below.
