Bob Hargis and Steve Adams become “Independents Together”

For those of you who do not follow the third-party or independent candidates, you may not recognize the names Bob Hargis or Steve Adams. Both gentlemen are running for President in 2008 on a campaign of honesty and openness within the Federal Government. Leading by example of openness, the two men have joined forces and started “Independents Together.” As stated on their website:

Steve Adams and Bob Hargis are two independent, presidential candidates helping each other because their desire for serving America outweighs their desire to compete with each other. Only one of us can be the next President of the United States, but we have agreed to say, “May the best man win… now let’s do we what we can together to help change America!”

Bob and Steve are founding members of Independents Together. The name may sound like a paradox, and aspiring politicians are not known for cooperation, but neither Steve nor Bob are politicians. We are regular, American patriots. We work for a living and have families. We are men of faith. We no longer believe the two party system holds candidates who reflect the wishes of the American people. So we are stepping forward, now together, to make the largest difference we can in the country we love.

Since the site has just been published, there isn’t much data on how they will achieve their goal, but their individual campaign sites are linked on the page for you to learn more about their individual views on the issues. May their example of cooperation be an example to those politicians currently in power that by working together, great things can be accomplished. Best of luck Bob and Steve.
