I&#039;m not sure if they still do so in schools today, but I remember way back when I was in Kindergarden, when I was tyring to memorize the pledge.  The teacher broke us up into small groups (of out 8 or 10) and we stood in line.  The first person had to say the pledge, and if the person messed up, they had to go back to the end of the line.  If you said it correctly, you received a gold star and was allowed to return back to your seat.  I can&#039;t recall how many tries it took, but I remember being in that line for a long time.  :)</description>
