I am very pleased to announce that Bob Hargis (I-OK) has agreed to be my running mate for the 2008 election. Bob is no stranger to those who have followed other independents running for President, and we feel that together we can make a great team.

Bob and I share many values and stances on the issues. Most importantly we know that we can make a positive change in this country by bringing unity and solutions to our government rather than partisan politics. Bob will not be a traditional Vice President who is never heard from. Rather he will be a valued partner in critical decision making and part of the larger team of experts we will surround ourselves with in Washington.

Bob is a 20 year veteran of the EMS field, having served in various capacities as paramedic, teacher, and administrator. He is currently the Executive Director of Southern Oklahoma’s largest ambulance service. He has extensive experience in managing crises and disasters. He is a creative problem solver who manages emergency decisions with amazing calmness. Bob has been married for over 20 years and has three children, the oldest who has just joined the US Army.
