Hello one and all. After much struggling and anxiety, I am proud to finally bring you the new web site. As you can tell, I have a few more adjustments to make, and I hope to have it all resolved by the end of the weekend. Until then, please be patient and “poke” around a little and leave comments if you come across any issues or have some recommendations.
I would also like to thank Darren Hoyt for the use of his design and for the numerous e-mails between us as I’ve worked out the bugs. I will have more information on him in the near future.
Yes, I know I promised you a new theme. To be a man of my word, I am providing you a glance of the new theme that I am working on.
Sneak Peek
This is my test site. I discovered in the process that I needed to upgrade my current version of WordPress in order to get the theme to work. After about 7 attempts at upgrading the software, I became more and more grateful that I had a test platform to experiment with. This delay has, of course, delayed me rolling out the new theme for you to see. Now that I know it will work, I need to upgrade the software for THIS blog so I can bring the new theme over. Wish me luck folks. I hope I don’t delete the content.
No, I haven’t fallen asleep. I am still working on the site design. Part of me was hoping that I would have won the “News” design Ian Fernando was offerring in his contest, but that didn’t stop me from working. I hope to have it in place by Sunday.
Thanks for understand!

The Democratic congress has sunk to a new low. Since they cannot just pick a date that they want US forces in Iraq to surrender to the Islamofacist dogs that the military is now beating and beating badly they have decided to do an end-around and possibly help kill our soldiers and leave those who do live high-and-dry without up to 70% of the supplies currently getting to them through Incirlik Air Base near Adana in Turkey. It’s the transshipment point for about 70% of all air cargo (including 33% of the fuel) going to supply US forces in Iraq. Included are about 95% of the new “MRAP” — mine-resistant, ambush-protected — vehicles designed to save the lives of American troops. Turkey wasn’t always this helpful. In 2003, the Turks refused permission for the 4th Infantry Division to enter Iraq through Turkey.
