I came across two items this weekend that were just too odd not to share.
The first item was an advertisement on Facebook for credit card debt relief. The service isn’t the oddity, but rather the ad. They merged President Obama’s face with an image of US Currency (see right). Isn’t it ironic that they are promoting debt relief while President Obama has exploded the national debt at a record pace?
The second item comes from a New York Times article from November 11th. A young man was walking down the street in Milwaukee one day when four masked men jump him and demands his money. After going through his wallet and only finding $16, one of the muggers noticed the victims military ID. Suddenly, the four men have a change of heart, help the poor guy up, and even give him a fist bump for his service. And they say there is no honor among thieves.
