Disclosure

Since there are ads sold on this site, I’ve decided to ad a disclosure statement. As you know, I do provide blog reviews in return for donations. Additionally, I sell ad space in the sidebar. What you might not know is that I allow people to buy link ads in my posts as well. I do not skew my opinions in favor of these ads, though I might word a sentence in a way so a keyword phrase will fit properly into the text. With that said, here is the customary disclosure statement:

  • Sorry about that, John. I keep meaning to create a "drop box" for people to use. I'll need to work on that this weekend.

I will give the service you listed below a try. Always looking for new ways to continue the discussion.

Thank you for your submissions to the Weekly, and thank you for the tip below. Keep up the good work, and I hope you see an increase in readership on your end.
  • Hi, just wanted to say thanks for publishing a couple of my posts in your blog carnival in the past. I looked into that seeded buzz site you mentioned a few weeks back. I think you're correct in that it could be good, although thus far there doesn't seem to be many of us political blog sites yet. Hopefully more will join-it's a little difficult to work in all (any) of those "crafts" posts!

You may have zero interest in this, but another new site called upropit.com just started with a somewhat similar concept. In this one the members vote a story to the "front" page. You have no obligation to "buzz" anyone else's site. It just started and looks to be a work in progress, but there seems to be more political sites there already than seeded buzz. Like I said, I'm not sure you would have an interest, but it has potential to be the type of site to increase traffic (it's only done so a little bit with mine so far-but hey, every little bit helps).

Anyway, since you informed your carnival blog people about seeded buzz, I thought you might want to hear about something like this (if you hadn't already). I joined based on reading about it in a blog that I read once in a while, similar to the way I heard about seeded buzz through your site.

Finally, I was going to email this to you, but I can't figure out where (or if) you have a contact/email area. So, I'm leaving it here and I hope that's ok. Thanks again for your blog carnival work.
